Gauss Lab (CEO Lee Jeong-geun) announced that it won the Encouragement Award at the 9th Chungcheongnam-do Public Data Utilization Startup Contest held on the 14th.
The contest, hosted by Chungcheongnam-do and organized by the Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, is an annual event aimed at discovering "innovative ideas" and "new business models" based on public data. This year, seven teams were selected as winners following preliminary and final evaluations.
Gauss Lab received the Encouragement Award for its industrial equipment inspection solution, MYAR. The MYAR solution integrates augmented reality (AR) and digital twin technologies, offering features such as:
- Accurate inspection data
- Reduced inspection time
- Remote inspection of high-voltage equipment
- Real-time remote collaboration
These capabilities have been recognized for enhancing operational efficiency in industrial settings.
A company representative stated, "We plan to develop optical character recognition (OCR) technology to automatically identify information attached to equipment and integrate it into MYAR. Through continuous R&D efforts, we aim to further enhance the solution."
Gauss Lab specializes in developing industrial data analysis and interpretation solutions using AR and AI technologies.
