Gauss Lab (GAUSS LAB), a company specializing in industrial digital twin solutions and data analytics, announced that it showcased its industrial visual inspection solution, 'AR·XR LOGBOOK,' at the 'Carbon Neutral EXPO' held at BEXCO's Hall 1 in Busan. The 'Carbon Neutral EXPO' is co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Environment, and Busan City, aimed at developing carbon-neutral technologies and creating a cooperative ecosystem for new industries to respond to climate change.

The 'AR·XR LOGBOOK' presented by Gauss Lab is a solution that facilitates real-time communication between technicians and managers in various industrial fields through the convergence of XR (extended reality) and ICT (information and communication technology).

The company stated, "The AR·XR Logbook is an inspection solution utilizing AR and XR devices such as tablets and head-mounted displays, improving the shortcomings of traditional manual inspections and enabling precise maintenance through image logging." They added, "When used in the energy sector, it can prevent unnecessary energy consumption, leading to enhanced energy efficiency."

Recently, Gauss Lab has been developing a solution to predict renewable energy generation based on meteorological data. According to the company, being able to predict energy generation will enable a stable supply of renewable energy, which will ultimately contribute to reducing consumption of environmentally damaging energy sources.
