Gauss Lab announced on the 9th that it received the Excellence Award at the 'ClimateTech Startup Challenge,' a pitching contest held in conjunction with the 'Climate Industry International Fair' (WCE) organized by the Korea International Trade Association.

The pitching contest is an event linked to the Climate Industry International Fair, scheduled to take place in Busan on the 25th. Its purpose is to discover innovative startups in the energy industry and support investment attraction and corporate promotion. The four companies selected in the pitching contest will receive additional support, including exhibition opportunities at the Climate Industry International Fair, promotion on the 2024 exhibition website, and connections to support projects.

In the pitching contest, Gauss Lab presented its solution for stabilizing the supply of renewable energy based on meteorological data and renewable energy generation prediction technology. A representative from Gauss Lab explained, "This research enables stable supply of renewable energy by predicting its generation based on weather data. When a stable supply of renewable energy is achieved, it can reduce the consumption of environmentally damaging traditional energy sources." They added, "We will further dedicate ourselves to research and development to enhance the accuracy of renewable energy generation predictions and secure stable energy supplies."

Gauss Lab develops industrial data analysis and resolution solutions utilizing augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Recently, the company has also received the Encouragement Award at the 9th Chungnam Public Data Utilization Startup Competition and the Governor's Award at the 8th Korea SW Convergence Hackathon.
